I'm working on PC with PageMaker6.5
(I worked with Quark on Mac before elsewere)
I recently contacted the printer service to feel temperature, but they don't like ...!
Thats about the situation.

I 'm now looking for the professional solution,
how to save the final documents to present to 'Mr Mac Printer' and have no (few) problems.
Note; I have no postscript printer with my PC so can not save postscript version? (Adobe PM states no postscript printer found) so no PDF neighter? or Export-->
I still have some weeks, but would like to have best way of acting and peace of mind before.
Thanks,

I assume, Mr.Mac Printer is a Large Scale Print Shop.
A few comments then: PM is limited to about 1150x1150mm.
But this is no problem. Edit the posters in a format which
requires an upscaling by factor 2.
Place all RGB images (instead of inserting them into the PM file).
Export each page as one EPS (print to file as EPS, fonts embedded).
You don´t need to have a PS printer.
Install any standard color PS printer from the PM CD (e.g. HP).
EPS is in principle device independent, nevertheless an assigned
printer is required.
The Print Shop can import EPS and scale it (for simplicity by factor 2).
You can also use PDF, then the dummie printer may be necessary too.
This is more complex. Especially, the images shouldn´t be compressed.
PDF is for many pages, EPS only for one.
The major problem is certainly that you can´t print the pages easily:
Import an EPS in PM. Downscale to your printable size. Print to the
local printer. This will show only preview quality, but good enough to
check for typing errors ...
Hope this helps for the start. ---G.Hoffmann
