Okay, I have one scene in my movie that has a looping animation on 2 layers. In the last key frame of both layers I have inserted a "Goto and Play - Frame 1". It works; however, if I try to add in a button layer to advance to the next or previous scenes, the buttons do not work. I take the scripting out of the key frames and the buttons work fine.

So, how do you create a looping animation with working buttons in the same scene?

Thanks!

hi

have your 'loops' as separate movie-clips within a layer, put your buttons on a different layer. If you put your movie-clips in frame1, remember to add enough spare frames after the first frame to cope with the length of the movie-clips.

ps: I said I'd get someone the fla to automatically create a line between two points...if you're reading this can you e-mail me cos I can't find the thread. Methinks Old has spiked my computer for the past month, I can't get it to work for more than one day in five, so apologies for any unkept promises!
