I've been searching for a copy of the subject book for about a week. I've checked many new and resale book dealers. I've also contacted the author and the publisher. It's gone out of print and there are no plans to republish because, "...Delphi is a limited use language."(!) Would anyone out there possibly know where there might be a spare copy or seen one recently in a book store? Perhaps outside the United States? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Delphi indeed has limited use for a publisher because the userbase is small and therefore the expected salesvolume is very low.
As this is an advenced text the salesvolume is even lower.

If the demand for this book is so small then why has it sold out?

Surely no publisher will have a print run that will lose them money even if they sell every copy.

When you say "the userbase is small" what do you mean? How many users / licences has Borland sold for Delphi? Where did you get your information from?

The Tomes of Delphi, this book was aimed at Delphi3 I think. Not all authors rewrite their book after a new version release, (except Marco Cantu) I am still using Mastering Delphi 4. I saw an add for the Tomes of Delphi about 6 years ago. Start looking in those bookstores and libraries visited by students.
