I'm investigating the cause of the following error message on a Citrix server:
"The terminal services client %1 has been disconnected because its temporary license has expired"

So far, this does not seem to fit any of the common support articles as:
a) The problem is occuring in a purely Windows 2000 environment
b) No temporary licences have been issued in the last few months
c) Connectivity to the Licence Server is OK (via ping/DNS/WINS)
d) All clients appear to be using their built-in CALs (W2K Pro) and users can connect OK
e) Under HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TermServLicensing\Parameters on the Licence Server, the 'Role' is 0 (for workgroup/domain licence server)
f) The suggestions involving recreation of the HKLM\Software\Citrix\MSLicensing key do not make any difference

As there seems to be no adverse effect on the end users from this, it would seem to be simply a case of stopping these errors being logged on the Citrix servers. However, it's not proving to be simple as there seems to be no solution! :)

Has anyone else come across this, or does anyone have a solution?

Thanks in advance......
