The string field shows only up to 10 charecters

Hi All,

In crystalXI, the string field si showing only up to 10 charecters and is truncating the rest of the column. Pleaase suggest with this.

Why not manually widen it?

Even after widening it it shows only upto 10 for all the records by default, I don't understand is there any setting do I have to change.

What tool did you look at to determine that there are more than 10 characters in the field?

If God wanted us to count in Hexadecimal, then why did he only give us A fingers?

I looked in Toad and the problem is solved now. It was not with the crystal but some thinig else out of it.
