The Spam send defer crash loop

Hi this is driving me mad... a site has SBE 5 with groupwise 5.5

the open relay is closed, but as gw does a partial response to an open relay test the server must be on the spammers list.. over the last 3 weeks it keeps getting thousands of spam mails.

It doesnt relayy them but they all end up in the send/defer and gwprob directories and eventually gw server falls over and needs a reboot.

is there a way out of this...

GW6.5 has been improved quite a bit for helping against spam. If you're on the Small Business Edition, the upgrade to SBS6.5 is fairly cheap.
