When trying to publish my site I get messasge: "The server ""timed out. The current request did not complete successfully." This happens as soon as I sign on and the first page moves into the folder just like it was starting to upload. I actually have two websites built on my harddrive and they are both already published. I am only having trouble with one, my other one works fine and publishes just perfectly. I went into the archives on this Tek-Tips forum and see similar problems but no solutions to my problem. Contacted my server and they said everything is fine on their end. I know I can publish live on the server but I don't want that. Any help would sincerely be appreciated.

Try the following and see if this clears up your problem with this web:
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
4) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE
5) Install all Service pack for your OS, IE and MS Office
