The Search Key Was Not Found ERROR

Hi all -

I walked in today to a few corrupt records. All the dates in these records were changed to 12/31/1899 and many of the text fields were boxes rather than text.

This isn't the problem, i've experienced this before. This time when I went to delete these records I got the error "The Search Key Was not found in any record" and I could not delete them.

I tried compacting and repairing but the compact and repair is not successful, it goes about half way on the status bar and then ends and re-opens the database.

Any thoughts on what this might be from?
