I have set the Schedule for the auto attendant and set the controler to the weekly schedule but it does not come on has anyone come across this? the rest of voice mail works fine I have set up the night service button and that works fine however they want to use the weekly schedule how ever no matter what we do it does not come at the set time the temp schedule works fine. I find it hard to beleive that just this part of voice mail could be deffective

Did you assign the lines to the auto-attendant number you are using?

When you set the Auto Attendant to "Follow the Weekly Business Schedule", the Night Service button on Ext. 10 controls how many rings before the auto attendant answers (#506), and IF the auto attendant answers (#507), while the Business Schedule controls which message answers the call based on the time of day and day of week.

So, you can structure your Day message as "We're open, but everyone is busy on another call", and the Night message as "We're closed", but hit Night Service during the day to make the Day message answer faster.

Do NOT use the option "Follow BOTH the switch mode and the weekly business schedule" - it does not function properly, and the system will change modes at seemingly random times.

the controler is set the weekly schedule and #506 is set to 4 rings for day and zero ring for night mode and #507 is set to always all foru line are assigned to the AA it is odd the temp schedule works find it is almost like the partner messaging can't read the the time

leave yourself a message and check the time stamp on it, if you have a brand new R7 processor then it might change the time to the caller ID time and some providers send crap and the time changes constantly on the system which in return changes the time on the voicemail as well.

If you can't be good, be good at it!

I had already checked the caller ID issue and at this point i'm going to change out the voice mail and see if that fixes it this is an odd issue that I've never come across before where just one feature of a voice mail doesn't work hopefuly changing the voice mail out takes care of if but thank you all for your insight and thought I will update the post if swapping otu the cards works once again thank you all
