I'm getting the following error on a customer's event logs... but I've no idea what it actually means. I can find it in a google search, but no fix suggestions, or decent diagnosis...
-------------
The SAM database was unable to lockout the account of Administrator due to a resource error, such as a hard disk write failure (the specific error code is in the error data) . Accounts are locked after a certain number of bad passwords are provided so please consider resetting the password of the account mentioned above.
-------------

Anyone have any thoughts????

Thanks!

It sounds like someone unauthorized was tying to logon as administrator.
You should reset the administrator password and scan your disk for possible errors.
