I receive this message when i try to use a select from different views with a join an also joined with other tables.
Does this mean that i've got to many fields or tables and how to prevent it ?
I can solve it when i use a temp. table but then again i can't use this select into the crystal.
Is there a possibility to use the drop function and the insert into a temp.table in a crystal reports??

Hi,
Any query that requires more than 256 tables to produce that output you need is need of much more than a fix to a Crystal limitation..

Create create a denormalized table or tables (perhaps using your views or by making new ones and using them)to pre-configure that data in the database end before attempting to report on it, and, for the long run, look carefully at your database design-it obviously needs work if you want to report from it.

If you have questions about software, always at least post the version.

If you have questions about databases, always state the type and the version. This message may be a limit of your database and/or connectivity.

I agree with Turk here, add to that you probably need to find someone to help with database and software concerns.
