Fellas ... I have tried it all. I have gone through the registry, win file, and just about anything else you could think of and have come up empty. I've followed your advice, and kind links, and the problem continues. I have never encountered anything like this before ... there is simply no way to rid of this.

Is there a file for "Internet Properties" that can be manually edited? Could the URL/script be hidden in there? Am I overlooking the obvious? I've tried EVERYTHING!

You may have a reference to a program called GoHip in the registry. See thread608-26818 on how to get it removed.
