I recently upgraded a system from R9.1 to R11. They used VM Pro for their severe weather alert. The system was installed by one of my coworkers years ago. At some point between 9.1 and 11 Avaya decided to limit which short codes you could use as a forward number. Dial Paging was one of the ones they disallowed. (SC pointing to a VM module with a Post dial to play a wav to an phantom ext that was forwarded to a SC dial paging to a group).
I Googled it... Found some relevant links on Tek-Tips. Going through the links I found the answer. However stupid, I had posted the solution to my own problem in a thread. Changed up the programming. KaPow... Problem solved.
I love this site. [spineyes]

Haha budbyrd
I have had similar occasions where I found my own answers from years ago.
It is like an extended memory because not matter how well you keep your records and cheat sheets Tek-Tips is always great to look at and find stuff from long lost times.

I have posted a few FAQs here for my own future reference. This one I didn't. I just found it comical. You would think I would have known the solution, but it something we don't do very often. It is unreliable at best for the application, but some customers are too cheap... Cost conscience to do it right. Any more we use the Viking DNA-510 for emergency page announcements.

That happens on occasion, especially with old stuff you don't touch day to day anymore. We've all been here too long...
