Good morning, all!
We have a problem with the IP500 units at our branch offices. The analog trunk lines that provide direct dial access are ringing once, then going dead. The call shows live in the System Monitor, but does not ring at the handset. Rebooting the unit brings the POTS lines back online for a while, but they go offline and the system needs rebooting. This is happening at all branch locations. The IP operations are unaffected.
We are running version 5 which we installed about six weeks ago. This problem only started four days ago. No configs in the IP Office Manager have changed.
I find it hard to believe that all analog cards are failing at the same time. Not only that, but different carriers are at some of the branches, so I have to rule out external system issues.
Has anyone run across this with the IP500 and analog lines?
