Ok – so you build a website and you hope for the traffic. Then you try to decide on how to get the site to all the search engines. But which search engines? Plus you need to choose your keywords. The first question is – how do any of the engines actually rank you? It seems the Internet is saturated with websites of almost anything & everything. Plus is one better off to spend $1000’s on someone who claims they can get your website ranked or does one just head over to some shareware site and purchase some type of web submitting software? The mystery meat is how to TOP rank you site without being a pain to everyone else.
Any ideas? As the bottom line is – I have some sites that need to be added to search engines + they need some traffic. So instead of pushing spam, posting on message boards, running link farms, spending money on TV or RADIO advertising – is there software that will work – or does a SEO need to be in place. Plus what is a SEO – I know what it stands for, but how different is that from just having this software that ranges from $20 to $800.
