Hi,

We are using NICE Perform 4.1 and we are also using Avaya

We have been receiving frequent alarms on NICE Sentinel with the below description;

" The Min SE parameter on the PBX is greater than the one on the Recorder"

SNMP Trap Number
Severity
Recommended Action

4017
Major
1. Change VRSP’s SipStackSessionTimerSessionExpires to the Min SE which is configured in CUCM.

2. Reduce the CUCM’s Min SE to 90.

----

Here's the current setting for our NICE media provider control
SessionTimerMinSE - 180
SessionTimerSessionExpires - 1800

Thanks,
Paul_Nice

Your options in this case would be to either change the parameter "SessionTimerMinSE" in CUCM to match NIM, or to add this alert to the ignored alarms in Sentinel. The NIM system can be configured between 10 - 1000. The default on Cisco's side is 1800.
If you were to leave it as is and ignore the alarm it could possibly impact the recording of conference calls but should not impact recording of inbound/outbound calls.
