the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service terminates

System: Win 2K sp2, Exhange 2000 sp2, Backup exec 8.6 rev 3808

Up til now it has been no problem backing up the mail boxes on the server. Recently, the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service terminates a couple of minutes after the sceduled backup has started. The result is no backup of the mail boxes and a Exchange server that is not responding to its clients.
The only recent change in my config is that I installed Norman antivirus for exhange, but the bacup was working after that.

I have tried to search here, at microsoft and at veritas. I can't find any related information on the problem.

I can confirm that this problem is related to Norman antivirus for exchange ver. 1.1. Stopping the antivirus service will solve the problem. Norman is notified.

I like Norton 2.5 and higher. Just what I see when people don't have problems related to AV yet we love all vendors equally :) Dan
