Hello

in a log table for the support desk, the status with date will be saved. It is possible that the status severall times switch between 'open' and 'solved'.
For example:
- 08-01-2010 open
- 08-02-2010 soled
- 08-03-2010 open
- 08-04-2010 solved
- 08-09-2010 open

In my report I need the latest date when it was solved.
The table is connected with a suportID to the main support table.
How do I do this?
regards
Dan

If you just want to see recordset for the latest solved

In select expert select Status = solved

Group by service desk call/item, sort by date ascending.

Suppress group header and details and place all the fields you require in the Group Footer.

hoi Ian

I've a following up question about this thread.
I've group the calls on the customer and it all works.
I created also a formule which count the days that a call is open, something like (start day - current day).
All those fields are placed in the footer and, and because the different select statements, a lot aff field are not shown.
Now I need to now the average of open days. I've tried running totals and the summary functions, but it seems to me that each time also the 'hidden' fiels are used in the formula. Of course I only want to now the avarege from the values which are printed in the report. How can I do this?
