the last tape is bad in my backup, now how do I restore?

Hi,

I did a full backup useing 7 tapes but the LAST tape "G" now comes bad as unreconignised so how can I restore something with out haveing to look at that last tape...
it prompts me for tapes B then D then asks for G.

Can I restore that file!!!!?!?
