I am running windows 2000 professional with SP2. I get this error when I open a specific .doc file in wordpad ( I can open any other .doc file in wordpad. The error I get is:
WORDPAD.EXE - Application Error
The instruction at "0x014f4a59" referenced memory at "0x0000001a". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program.

I went to microsofts site and they said to upgrade to SP3 which supposedly will fix the problem so I did. I also removed visual studio enterprise 6.0 to see if that would fix it and I still get the problem.

Anyone have any ideas

Thanks
Adam
