The Hanle is invalid

I am having trouble w/ backup failures. The error is as follows:
Storage device " Archive 0" reported an error on a request to rewind the media.
Error reported
The handle is invalid.

There's only one "Handle invalid" report on veritas.com. Did you check it?
We have the same problem backuping Exchange during large mailboxes, waiting 4 someone to solve it

from veritas.com:
The error message occurred because Microsoft SQL v7.0 Service Pack (SP) 1 is installed on the same computer as Backup Exec.

I was able to download a updated driver from veritas at

http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/229268.htm.

after installation of the updated driver I was able to perform a restore and a backup.
