The file is being used by another lotus notes system

Hi
When we do the below steps the lotus notes client and the desktop/laptop hangs.

1. Opened an attached file in a mail and left it open. (The attachment was a word file of ~23KB)
2. Then tried to drag and drop the same attachment from the mail to the desktop.

I got the below error.
" Lotus notes Error, The file is being used by another lotus notes system ".

Kindly help me with ur suggestions.
