I have a form in an Access 2003 database. When I open the form and use it, there is no problem. When another user opens it, they get an pop up that says:

"The Expression On Current you entered as the event property setting produced the following error:Object or class does not support the set of events"

The other user recently upgraded to office 2007 (but still uses Access 2003). I went into (on the other user's computer) tools --> references in the Access 2003 vba editor and saw that the library being referenced was office 12. I was able to change the reference to office 11, but the message still appears. I've searched the web and I can't find anything specific to this situation.

Both of us have XP.
I haven't upgraded to Office 2007.

That was one of the websites I looked at, however, we are running XP and that particular website references Vista or Win7. I've tried the suggestions, but I don't see what they are referencing in the solutions. I will try again, but I feel at this point I am just trying things (hmm, lets see if this works) to find a solution. Thanks.

Not sure what part you do not understand, the article is pretty clear. However, if you do not understand this, then you should not be trying something as problematic as running dual versions of Access. This is not recommended, and most people who do this are developers who understand the complexity and issues.

Does the user need 2003? Unless they are developing 2003 utilities for other users then get rid of it.
