I noticed the other day that the Ewido website was now redirecting to the main AVG site.
That meant that I could no longer get the definiation files manually.
Now since the relaese of AVG 8.0 FREE edition (with built in spyware detection), I no longer see any referenece to AVG Antispyware (Ewido) on the Website.

go to free.grisoft.com to find avg antispyware. I went through this the other day

Unless I'm missing something on that site, Ewido/AVG anti-spyware is now officially dead with the posting of AVG Anti-Virus 8.0 Free.

This is the only link I find

o wow, I went like 2 weeks ago and anti-spyware was still there, that sucks, because there are reasons i won't use AVG anti-virus.

I actually downloaded ewido on the 19th, so less than a week

If you actually still have ewido (not avg anti spyware) keep it. That thing still finds stuff that others miss lol. I wish Ewido had not sold out. They were genius in having an anti malware program. It was so ahead of its time in catching trojans. The way it was made was near perfect.
