Hi All,
I have a BCM 400 in our PBX test lab and I lost all IP connectivity to it. Digital phones are working fine. I can connect to a system with a HyperTerminal. Here is what I see.
The disk structure is corrupt and non-readable.

I work with PBX for many years it's just not with Nortel BCM systems, but from what I see it looks like the hard drive has problems. It is still running based on the front panel indicator and I can feel it running with my fingers.

Can anyone give me an idea based on your experience on what is happening and how to fix it.
Thanks

The BCM 3.x versions ran on Windows NT. It's common for the disk to fail. Usually the system will run OK without any IP / Call Pilot access. You need to replace the disk with another 3.6 image and reload back in the keycodes etc.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.
