The current User account does not have permissions to convert

Hi,

I am opening someone else old db I suspect it's 97. I am using 2003. When I click on the file I get an error message:-

The current user account does not have permissin to conver or enable this database.

Any idea's how I can open this one guys ?

Assuming that you want to convert the database to Access2000/XP/2003 format create a new blank MDB file and import all the objects.

Failing that I think you will need to get hold of the MDW file the database is secured or created with and login under the username that has admin rights to this database.
