Hi All, I've searched and cannot find the solution here.

Some backstory, I created 3 skillsets. 1 of those skillsets I had to unconfigure and kill no problem that was done. Now I need that 3rd skillset again so I set it up with the same extension, 2253, and now the system says there is already a mailbox with that number. No problem, I go into the mailboxes to delete that however there is no delete option beside this (or any other) skillset mailbox.

How do I delete this skillset mailbox?

Depends on the software version.

Use an application DN for the skillset....

BCM 450
Version 60.3.0
OS 6.1

Is there any other information that would help?

I'd really like to use the 2553 DN. Our other two are 2551 and 2552 and having them together makes management easier. Even then I'd still like to remove this old mailbox.

Check the MWI and see if this has been assigned as another user in some one else's mailbox.

You can have more than 1 person assigned to monitor a mailbox.
You may have to go through each mailbox and look for the Alternative user assigned

No alternative users assigned to any mailbox, let alone this one. The mailbox was created automatically when I initialized a skillset but unconfiguring and disabling the skillset did not unconfigure or disable the mailbox and now the skillset is unable to use this extension.

I can log into the mailbox from a set or call pilot, make changes, record a greeting, etc so it's acting like a regular mailbox, but for the life of me I cannot delete it.

Use the directory mailbox reporting ..in reports on call pilot.
This will allow you to see what extn has been assigned the mailbox.

Oh. Have you tried a reboot after deleting the skillset.
You will be surprised what this can fix

See if it's being used by a different extn.

Usually an operator may have been assigned the mailbox.

None. Doesn't exist. Only modified to hide names.

Reboot has been done a few times recently since the skillset was unconfigured and deleted for other various reasons.

I do not see any other extensions using 2253 and it even shows up as an Inactive DN it's literally just this mailbox that is stuck there.

Not 100% sure but I remember this was an issue before.

You will probably have to patch up the system with the latest SU patch.

You usually fine there are a number of fixes in the patches.
