Receiving the subject message when running this code from a command button on a form:

DoCmd.SendObject , , acFormatRTF, strTo, , , strSubject, strMessage, True

Bit of background: This is in an app that was converted from '97 to 2K. In '97 worked OK; in 2K has been a problem. This is a legacy app; I haven't poked around in it enough to have an understanding of all the code. (DAO 3.6 reference has been set.)

The code is good, I use it or a variant in a number of situations in both '97 and 2K.

Seems like it must be either something else in another section of code (hope not) or, perhaps, a reference that has not been set.

Any tips or hints that will help me track this down will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

You might try
DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdSaveRecord
before the SendObject line. This type of message usually appears when Access has changed a record but the focus hasn't moved off the record yet so it is still locked.
