The CA BrightStor Backup Agent RPC Server service terminated unexpecte

I am running Brightstor v.9 to backup W2000 with Excange 5.5

I receive The folowing error in the event log on the Exchange server.

The CA BrightStor Backup Agent RPC Server service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

What is wrong with the RPC service? I need a fix for this problem asap.

Have you installed the latest patches? Does it still occur with cumulative patch 3 installed?

When did this begin happening? i.e. What changed in the environment when this error begain appearing.

I suspect this this is caused by licensing issue
If there any license errors in windows event viewier application log from the source CA_LIC

also check if there any license errors in ca_lic\lic98.log

After installing update 9.01 the RPC service has worked OK.
