People ask specific Visual C++ related questions and with any luck they get answered.

hi PerFnurt

I know that thing but I want to ask sg else.
See, I don't ask much questions here but I read this forum almost daily and it's a fun.
I'm saying how I can go through all the questions each time without repeatation (but I would like to read the question repeatedly if it gets updated with new responses).

As long as you're signed in, the topics that have something new in them have a "NEW" tag next to them and appear at the top of your list.

Also, if there's a thread you really want to follow, you can click the "Click here to mark this thread for e-mail notification." link to, well, mark the thread for e-mail notification. That means whenever someone updates that thread, you'll get an e-mail about it. I'm not positive, but I believe you must be signed in to access this feature, as well.

I save all the pages of any tek-tip forum's threads to my hard disk (using “save as” option). Then save 1st page's threads or so daily if forum is busy like vc++. Thus I can read them offline at any time.

Here I wanted to know what features this forum should present. I suggested as above and each new updates should be colored in that pdf.

someTimeOnly, the problem is, this forum is provided free, and is (I guess) run at a minimal time / cost expenditure by the owners. It is not fair to expect them to provide a pdf of all topics, with new messages highlighted for free. Maybe if there was a demand for it as a premium service it might be done in the future, but the best thing you can do is to mark the threads that interest you, and look for the icons to say when new messages have been posted. Sorry !
