Hi

I have installed some Win2003 servers under VMware ESX 2.5 build 13053 and I don't like the network performance.

The driver that is installed by Windows (also after I have installed VMware tools) is AMD PCNET Family PCI ethernet Adapter"

Is this the right (and best) driver or should I use a different one?

in the MUI, modify the network card to "vmxnet". After you boot the guest OS (your windows) a new card will be detected.. You need to have "vmware tools" installed in order to have the driver.

Cheers.
