Fiber optic transceiver is connected to one end of the optical transmission system, and the other end (the client) out of the 10 / 100M Ethernet interface. Fiber optic transceivers are achieve optical signal conversion action. The main principle of fiber optic transceiver is achieved by optocouplers, optical transceivers typically have the following basic characteristics.

● Provide ultra-low latency data transmission.
● Completely transparent to the network protocol.
● Use of special ASIC chip wire-speed forwarding data. Programmable ASIC will concentrate multiple functions on a single chip, with a simple design, high reliability, low power consumption, etc., enabling the machine to get higher performance and lower cost.
● Equipment use of 1 + 1 power supply design, and support wide supply voltage to achieve power protection and automatic switching.
● Support wide operating temperature range.
● Supports the full range of transmission distance (0-120 km)
