I've previously asked 2 experts to help me with my W2k startup sorting problem. I've simply been told "there is no msconfig in W2k." Who would have thunk that one can use the msconfig from XP!:
I've only used it once on W2000 Professional - it seems to work fine.

You might look at a utility that braddds told me about - Mike Lin's Startup Control Panel - super freeware!
