I am running W2K pro at home and give my daughter power user privileges. She has to connect to a Website that uses flash as part of a login process. Flash will not work unless she is logged on as an administrator. I prefer not to give her admin privileges on my machine, but she has to connect to this Website for school. I have uninstalled flash (using my account with admin privileges), gave her admin privs. Installed flash under her account. Removed admin privs and the flash component would not work (website won't come up). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the website? That sounds suspicious to me. I cannot think of an obvious reason for a flash website to require admin privilidges on the client other than for malicious purposes... James Goodman

The website is . I just tried the site from work, using a guest account(user). I had no problem with the website.
I alternately, granted and removed admin privileges to her account. The website will only come up if she has admin privileges?

What version of flash are you runnnig at work?
What version of flash are you running at home?

I have seen lots of Win2K privilidge problems related to software versions. Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of flash from their website. It would also be a good idea to run Windows Update to make sure you have all available patches... James Goodman
