Thanks, everyone on here has been super helpful.. I have yet annother question! I need to set up a quick temp ACD group.. now i have symposium but dont want to set it up there.. i would like just something basic. here is what i need.. we have a change comming up and need feedback so we will need 10 people taking calls from one number, what would be an easy way to do it? now all i have for this is analog lines in this building so it also has to be done with them.

THANKS!

best way for quick and temp is mcr or mcn keys, just make key 0 mcr xxxx for each phone, the frist call rings on all phone (or flashes) any one can answer it, the other phones remain idle until the next call. until all phone are off hook will you recieve a busy. busy would be given ( if each phone had 2+ mcr keys. The keys not in use would flash. i use this set up for 10 station fund drives, i make all phones non-ringing and put an analog ringer on a single set. you only use a single number so all users have the same option to answer any call..

just as quick to do it in symposium as anywhere else...

build a acd q as you usually would create 10 agents and put them in that q or re-programm 10 exisitng and put them into your new q

personally I would keep with symposium

humm think you both missed the fact that im going to be using ANALOG sets... any ideas?

sorry misunderstood.

easy way then is set up a hunt group with your ten phones in.

set the pldn to the number that people will be ringing

and away you go..

not acd but will do to distribute calls either in a linear fashion or in a round robin fashion depending on what you want.

well i sorta already made the setup MCR, like john said. So i call my 1010 number all phones ring, if someone is on a phone it rings the rest.. BUT now this is what i want to happen when all 10 people are on the phone, i need it to get fowarded to one of our customer service acd dn's but cant figure it out... so if noone answers any of the 10 phones, OR everyone is on the 10 phones, i need it to get fowarded? any ideas now? :) THANKS GUYS..

if it is an analog phone set up cls fna and ftr fdn xxxx and it will forward no answer to the xxxx number you put in and set up a hunt number and cls hta and it will hunt on all lines busy. make sure this is on the MARPed phone for this number, if MARP is turned on.

correct on 3030.. just do a normal ftr fdn xxxx hunt xxxx cls hta fna sfa... if all stations are busy or rna it SHOULD follow the fna/hunt.. you can also add the dn to a digital set as a mcn xxxx for a non ringing key.. no cls mark needed on a digital with a mcr/mcn key
