Just a quick question,

I've noticed the TIE trunks are the only ones allowed to have a TGAR defined. I was merely wondering why that was the case and how is it used? I've been unable to find a definitive answer. Not a major issue, just curiousity on my part.

Thanks,
Arch

gives you better control of trunk to trunk access, if your going through a switch to reach another switch or a diff. carrier, the tgar acts the same as it would on a phone. ie if my tie is tgar 2 and my local is targ 1, my ld is targ 2, i can hit your switch, dial 9 + local but not 9 + ld. A tie trunk is handled almost like a analog station on in bound access...
