texting or sms from IP Office?

I don't think this is possible, but I wanted to ask on behalf of a client. Are there any features or apps on the IP office, even DevConnect, that would allow users to send SMS or Text messages? Right now they use google voice for some, but it is not considered HIPPA compliant.

To be clear, they will have remote users off the IP Office system and they want them to be able to send text messages to clients without using personal cell phones.

You can send email to SMS AKA text. But if you are not sending it to a cell phone what are you sending it to?

they are sending the text messages to phones. Thank you for reminding me that a person can send a text message via their email client. That might be an option.

use their app or a web portal to send/receive. I also had done the SMS to email conversion, and put sms into an IPOCC call center...
