textbox prompt, view settings and usage?

Hi,

I have an existing report opened in reportstdio. on the prompt page there is a textbox which accepts the invoice amount and then it uses in query, I believe to filter some records?

my question, if I look into properties window for textbox, it does not seem to tell me how it is being used in query and which query and how it is used?

query explorer does not seem to tell either?

any ideas?

Your query or the tabular model below it should contain a filter. If you look at the expression of the filter you should find a parameter is being used (ie a name in question marks, such as ?MF?). If you now select your prompt and look at the parameter property, you should see a match to the parameter name in the filter.
