Textbox in ListBox/DropDownList possible?

Is it possible to have a textbox situated at the bottom of an ASP.NET DropDownList (runat=server)?

I figured this would be a good way to allow entry of text fields in a "Other" textbox inside the DropDownList when the listbox entries do not show what is needed.

It could be possible with some client side code. I would suggest looking at the combobox control on
