I am needing a way to format a text box to be only valid dates. The format for the dates is mm/dd/yyyy. I have been unable to find anything in any books telling me how to format a text box field. Any help in solving this would be GREATLY appreciated.....Thanks.....

Consider using the date picker control (DTPicker). Part of the windows common controls 2. It can be set to accept entered dates or to select a date from a drop down calender. Date format can also be controlled.

Thanks and Good Luck!
