Textarea output problem 1

Hi all,

I'm having this trouble displaying output of a text data saving from <textarea>. what I meant is that I'd like to be able to display the output exactly the same with the input from the <textarea> where I have line break and all. Right now, my longdesc output is just ONE BIG pile of text.

I tried this SERVER.URLENCODE(REQUEST("LDESC")) which makes my whole display messed up with all kind of "+" and continuous phrases.

SERVER.HTMLENCODE doesn't seem to do the job at all.

is there anything else I can work with?

try doing a replace of vbcrlf with <br /> as in: Replace(text,vbcrlf,"<br />")

I did what you said and now the output are still displayed in the same way, except with a bunch <BR />s instead of line breaks like I want it to be.

nevermind worldwise, it works now. I forgot a code SERVER.HTMLENCODE infront of the output script.
