I have recently had Crystal 9 Installed. I am having a problem with the text field not displaying all the information needed. I thought that version 9 corrected this problem. Any ideas ? What am I missing ?

Perhaps you need to right click the field and select format field->Can Grow

Since a text field in Crystal 8.5 didn't limit you, I assume that you're speaking about a formula not allowed to be over 254 characters, and that table fields over 254 characters were not available for use by formulas.

If I've misunderstood the problem, please post specifics about what this field is.

I have the can grow selected. To be more specific the data is a memo field in a sysbase table. I am trying to display the entire text of the memo field.

Even in CR 8.5 you could display memo fields beyond 254 characters.

Might be a driver issue, or perhaps your data source is a View and it's incorrect in there.

Is the text box the last one on the line? If so, does it extend beyond the margin of your page? I know that is something that I have had happen because I wasn't paying attention when I added the field to the report.
