Hi,

All I want to do is wrap text around the rings in this image:

splash.jpg

I've tried saving it as an EPS with the white portion transparent, and I've tried defining a border and then using Type -> Text Wrap -> Make, but neither work. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Misty

Misty,

Why can't you create a circle over the rings, select path type tool, click on a point and type away? Is that what you're looking for?

By the way, how did you post a picture in your thread? I didn't know one could do that on this board.

Hope this helps,
DanH

That's what my boss did to get it to work. What I was thinking was something more along the lines of what you can do in PageMaker...You can make a wrap boundary around a picture itself, so whereever you move it in your document, the text wraps around it. Perhaps you can't do that in Illustrator.

For the image thing, just put this:

Thanks,

Misty

In ai. select both objects (text and shape) and goto Type->Wrap->Make. I think the object has to be on top of the text first. Also it has to be a in a type block (click and drag with type tool), not a text oject.
