Thanks for the responses, but I must not have made my question clear. (I tried the file, preferences, etc., but wasn't able to change the problem.) When I am inputting text to a document, I'd like to see on the screen what it says; unless the document is sized at 100%, which is too large, the text, up to 23 or 14 point, is indicated only by a series of x's, i.e., xxxxxxxxxxxx. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
