Got part of the text to speech to work on our demo system today quite cool.

Once you have the AVAYA CDs and the Licence you will find that the text to speech will play the full name field on the user as part of the mail box greeting if they have not recorded their name.

This would save a lot of time and is quite handy on a large site where people don't always want to set up their voice mail.

I just wish AVAYA could explan to me how to configure TTS and email.

Nobody seems to be able to give me a stright answer, I rekon it is not going to work until 2.1 even though it was released with Version 2.

I Agree the TTS engine is very cool. You should run up the bookshop demo on the Version 2 engineers tool kit. This shows how to back the VM pro into a Access database using TTS for responses, very cool stuff.

Last week I configured TTS and VM Pro IVR into MS CRM in conjunction with the CRM intergration pack AVAYA have released on the User CD since Version 1.4. All very cool.
