Text that turns in view

I'm trying to have my text turn into view one character at at time. I can get it right now that each charachter appears one at a time but I'm trying so that it can also turn into view.

I set the text layer to 3D but found you can not animate all three axises this way.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Each letter will have to be its own layer, or use a skew factor.
