Text size change 1

Hi
When I copy and paste a text box containing Arial size 10 text between files it always changes the size 10 to size 12. Does anyone know why and how to stop it?

I use 2002 and 2007 and I copy files both to themselves and between them. It always does it. Maybe you's be so kind as to try it on your machine to see if it's just mine. Put a line of Arial font size 10 in a text box and copy and paste it into another document. Thank you for your interest.

I no longer use 2002. I did try it with 2007 and it did not happen. Out of curiosity, when you insert a test box from scratch in a blank document, what font and size to you get as a default?

It opens with Times New Roman 12 default. My company's catalogue is pretty much the only thing I use Publisher for. Correcting one text box after cutting and pasting is a nuisance but Correcting a whole page of text boxes is a pita.

That works great for new files but the original problem still exists when copying and pasting text boxes between my two existing files. I guess there must be something in the files themselves that is corrupting the transfer.
