Text Scroll bar wont work 1

I have downloaded DavDesigns Text scroll and Clock .fla's (8 and 9 from FAQ section) and would like to use both of them in one movie. Is this possible? I can get the clock to work by taking out the stop action in the Text Scroll script but this breaks the scroll upwards button. Why does the movie need to be stopped to get this button to work but the down button works fine? Any help appreciated.

Just combined the two .flas myself, and it works fine!
You must of changed something!

I am not a very experienced Flash user so maybe I combined the .fla's incorrectly? I simply slected each layer and chose copy all frames in one .fla and then inserted a layer in the other .fla and chose paste all frames. I did this for each layer.

Any other/better way of doing this?

What I did (and what you should have of done!) is open both .flas and both libraries. Opened the clock .fla, selected & copied all frames of both layers, then opened up the scroll .fla, created a new movie clip, and pasted all the frames in that new movie clip. Edited this movie clip to remove the double Davdesign logo (Should of put mine!), and then dragged it on a new layer in the scroll .fla.
Bingo!
All that was left to do, was vote for the guy that helped me out!
