Hi,

Does anyone know if its possible to display the contents of a table cell rotated 90 degrees clockwise / anti clockwise?.

I am producing a report that has column headings which are dates, and unless I rotate the dates the table is going to be extremely wide!!

Thanks in advance

Yup, that worked a treat!

I thank you

Hi,

After my success yesterday aligning the text text vertically, my baloon has now been popped :(

The problem I have, is when I print the report I've generated, it gets split into two pages... right in the middle of the vertical dates... this gives me one page with one and a half lines of text on it, with the rest of the report on a seperate page.

However, when I remove the style that gives me vertical text, the report isn't split over two pages... just too damn wide!!!

Anybody any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks in anticipation

I've found out what the problem was...

As I mentioned it was dates that I was rotating 90 degrees to form column headings for my report. I used a function to format the date into a medium date format i.e. 1/1/2002 would become 1-jan-2002. It appears that the dashes in between the date elements were causing the problem. When I cut the function out of the equation the problem goes away.

Wierd!

Thanks anyway
