Hello,

Can anyone tell me why my text might be printing so faintly, in such a way that I can see individual pixels? Graphics print fine. Using background fill, I can't make the black as black as the black in my graphics either!

When I add more stroke -- such as 0.1 -- things become more legible, but this seems like a bandaid fix.

Best wishes,

Chris

If your text is black you might try checking "text as black" in the Output section of your print dialogue window.

If you've created your dco in CMYK color and are trying to print to a standard inkjet, that printer only recognizes RGB, not cmyk. You might try exporting a press quality pdf. When you get the Export pdf window, click on Advanced and select RGB in the Color menu. Then print that and see if it comes out better.

since you graphics seem to be printing balck ok, I'm assuming that there's nothing wrong with the black on your printer itself and that you have the print quality for the printer itself set to "best" or whatever.
